It was good to see all of you who turned out for the viewing of the ECACHL Championship game in downtown LA. We will be watching at the Grand Avenue Bar in downtown LA at 9:30PM Saturday v. Ohio State (tape delay), and if we win, 12:30 PM Sunday, live. If there's a a live viewing Saturday on Directv we'll be watching at the Grand Avenue Bar as well (however, the 9:30PM tape delayed viewing will proceed no matter what-- I will be at the taped viewing.) If you are not already on my mailing list, email me at howardm1@sbcglobal.net. I will post here in a day or two re whether we'll have a live viewing Saturday. (I am still confused/uncertain as to whether the viewing on Altitude "Alternate" Saturday at 3PM will be available on Directv in LA. Clearly, the tape on ESPNU will be available.)
Our only viewing on Saturday will be taped, at 9:30PM at the Grand Avenue Bar (on ESPNU on Directv). The live broadcast is on Altitude Network's "Alternate Channel", Ch. 658 on Directv, and the Grand Avenue Bar doesn't pay for that channel. (See other threads re the complexity of trying to verify that a bar with the SportsPak has Ch. 658.) As for Sunday's game, Grand Ave. is closed. I am looking into finding a bar for Sunday.
