What's up with Marr? Will he be suiting up next to LeNeveu next fall?
That's the report....
Looks like not much of a dropoff in goal then...
I'm sure I'm going to hear it for this, but I was disappointed in Underhill's uncharacteristic play in both the Harvard and UNH games. Tough saves don't mean much if you're going to let softies in. I just saw the tape of the UNH game last night for the first time, and the second goal (Colin Hemingway from the left mid-boards) was really weak - an unscreened, far angle, half-speed wrister... the announcers quickly called it as a bad goal.
Oh well, I'm just feeling bad about the missed opportunity - they don't always come around that often.
Todd Marr didn't dress in a single game this season. When Underhill was hurt coach only dressed one goalie from what I remember.
Does that mean he didn't use a year of eligibility? If that isn't the case, why not dress him when Underhill was hurt? Just curious.
The only games Underhill was hurt for were the two road games at RPI/Union, assuming I'm not forgetting something. It's possible, I guess, that Marr wasn't on the trip, so couldn't dress once Underhill got hurt.
Every year an athlete is on a roster they loose a year of eligibility.
He wasn't allowed to dress. Athletes transfering schools automatically lose a year of eligibility, i.e. can't compete for one year.
until January. He could have dressed from January, on.
