That's another great article:

[Q]
During games, Schafer morphs into the same man who, as a player, once snapped a stick over his head to rile up the Cornell crowd during pregame introductions.

Rarely is he outcoached, outprepared, or outwitted.

"Even in the heat of the game, when he's really mad, he always knows what he's saying," Baby said. "He yells the right stuff."
[/Q]

[Q]Like or loathe it, you must afford The Program its due. Since Schafer arrived prior to the 1995-96 season, it has been the class of the league. [/Q]

And like or loathe the evil empire in Cambridge, you have to give JPM his due.  This is the best color coverage of college hockey that Albany has ever seen.  We must find this guy in the press box and buy him a fish sandwich.  ;-)

Morosi has done an outstanding job covering college hockey in the Capital District all year, even though all he's got to write about locally is RIP and Onion.  I have never seen any Harvard bias from him, and he writes in a style that is engaging and entertaining.  He is much too good for the local fishwrap, and I'll enjoy him while he lasts, but I bet he doesn't spend much of his career in Albany.
