Title: 3/10 Score: UNH 6 NE 1
Post by: jkahn on March 10, 2005, 09:30:45 PM
UNH wins and flips 3 comparisons, Harvard, No. Dak. and Wisc. - jumping UNH from 13 to 8  (assumes 3/2/1 bonus).  Good example of how volatile the system is.

I'm still working on who the hell "NE" could be without cheating.

OK, I gave up.  "Northeastern" is NU.

C'mon Greg, that was any easy one.  FWIW, Niagara is also NU and I just checked JTW's script and he uses NE also.

People associate NU with Northeastern as they have been around forever, Niagara didn't go DI until '96 (I believe). Interestingly Northeastern's website is NEU.edu.  ::screwy::

My abbreviations try not to use potentially ambiguous combinations like UM.  BU and DU are special cases because those are the standard nicknames.
