CU at number one.. the 4x4 is ESPNs NCAA bracketology
they have harvard as a 2 seed...
Harvard is #8 in the PWR, unweighted or 3-2-1 weighted. A #2 seed for them seems reasonable at the moment. (Meanwhile, with their strong weekend, Dartmouth has jumped up into a tie for 9th, and Colgate has dropped off the bubble altogether for the time being.)
Did anyone notice the Worchester Bracket on the 4x4, it is almost like the Beanpot minus NU. The final could get a huge turnout, if BC plays BU for the chance for Frozen Four berth. Just thought that bracket was interesting with all those Boston teams in it.
Hmmm, and who would that be beating out Hyphen-Sieve for all- East first team:
>>> [Harvard ranked #10:] Hard to believe it's true, but Dov Grumet-Morris's .948 save percentage and 1.58 goals-against average will only be good enough to get second-team All-ECACHL. http://insidecollegehockey.com/5Polls/0405/polls_0325.htm
i think you know the answer to that question bill ...
Let's wait it until we hear that from some official channel before we start bragging about it, eh?

This is the NCAAs, what's new about that?
For all the abuse the Inch site takes, I think they have a better sense for how the NCAA will assign teams to regionals than USCHO. ::twitch::

INCH is predicting the way they think it will end, not based on currently rankings. USCHO is doing "if the season ended today", and its hard to argue with their results. Some seedings, like us in Minnesota, aren't pretty, but it *is* how the committee works.
I know that INCH is predicting a season end and USCHO is predicting them as they stand today. INCH, however, is keeping a lot of teams close to their campuses. The odds of that happening are very low if the committee puts a priority on competitive equity (natural or serpentine brackets, 1d vs. 2a etc.) to the exclusion of attendance concerns, as USCHO's Bracketology articles have done. I'm probably giving INCH more credit than they deserve, though, since you can't compare their predicted brackets to any current PWR standings, and USCHO has a much better track record the last 2 years.
