Matt Moulson is the first Cornellian to score 20+ goals in 9 seasons: http://www.tbrw.info/players/cornell20g.html
Gleed hit hard an going back with help from Kelly (trainer). Cornell pp #1 coming up.
Moulson's goal makes him 16-9-25 in ECAC play -- he leads Sproat (Prn) by 1 and Trevelyan (SLU) by 3 in goals and trails Sproat by 2 and Stempniak (Drt) by 1 in points.
Cornell pp #2 coming up. Scuderi a crosscheck and maybe more.
Yep, Scuderi gets his 2 plus 10 for bitching.

McKee stops Dodge on a clean breakaway and then Dodge breaks his stick over the crossbar! :-)
No penatly (un-sportsmanlike conduct, perhaps?) for intentionally breaking a stick on the goal's crossbar?

Thanks. I wondered where the hell it went. ::nut::
Chris Abbott, Vart, and Sawada putting together a couple decent chances. SOG are tied at 8, but Cornell dominating.
Someone needs to murder the guy with the bell. My god, stop ringing that thing! :)
Knoepfli!
Period ends, 3-0.

Yeah, the SLU guys corrected themselves.
Cornell kills the Clarkson pp.
We want Weeder! (sp?)
"Weder" was the spelling.

Weder. From possibly the greatest series of 1996.
Young'uns. :)

Is George Roll a goon? Clarkson always seems like a bunch of goons, and they probably wouldn't be if Roll didn't encourage it.
That's not his rep. I think he's trying to use the body to neutralize a more talented team. c.f., Schafer, Mike early in his coaching career at Cornell.
Cornell on power play again.
I knew how to spell it at one point, long ago :-)
Cornell with great pressure on the pp.
Cowbell clearly audible in the background (of the Cornell broadcast.)
Andy W.
big save mckeee
Cornell 0-4 on the power play.
Had to get dinner for my daughters and missed the last 10 mins. Anything interesting?
Cornell going on their 5th powerplay of the night.
they'll get another chance on power play #5 - starting now.

There was almost a Clarkson goal. According to Weinstein, the goal light came on, and we could hear the siren sound briefly, but Kotyra never signaled goal. Weinstein then watched a video replay, and confirmed that the puck was never in the net.
end of cornell PP. Slashing on Hynes. 4X4 for 37 seconds then PP for Clarkson.

Thank you.
Sounds like it's getting chippy...penalty after penalty after penalty.
Penalty on Clarkson. 4X3 for 15 seconds or so and then everything explodes in a massive never-ending penalty of doom.

mmmmm, penalty of doom
Moulson three or four quick chances on Leggio but stoned each time.
Weinstein really upset over a no-call by Kotyra at the end of the period. According to Weinstein Weller hit Mccutcheon in the face with his stick right in front of Kotyra.
Second Intermission
Game on.
Clarkson pp #5 coming up.

McCutcheon is in for Cam Abbott. Is McKeown playing? I don't think he is.
gametracker indicates he is taking faceoffs
Gametracker has McKeown on the stats page (with no stats) but doesn't have him on the line chart. Haven't heard his name called either.
lucky there's a family guy
Misconduct on Dodge? Someone explain this.
Gametracker has him losing 2 faceoffs?
dodge apparently the dude who smacked his stick against the crossbar earlier. dunno what he just did

Lenny's 9 is the current Cornell record for shutouts in a season (the NCAA record may be 10, by Ryan Miller a few years ago).
