I'm planning on taking NJ Transit down to Princeton from NYC this Friday afternoon/evening to catch the game at Baker Rink. Anyone interested in joining me for the ride? The trip takes between 1:05 and 1:15 each way, and costs $10.85 each way. I'm leaning towards taking a train that leaves Penn Station at 5:01 and gets to Princeton (the station is within 200 yards of the rink) at 6:17, although I could leave earlier if anyone wanted to meet for dinner before the game. (Speaking of which, anyone want to meet for dinner before the game?) If you might want to join me, feel free to reply to this thread or by email.
Depending on what I have to do that day for my part-time job, and on whether or not Jessica's joining me for the game, and on whether or not my friends in Skillman ever reply to my e-mails, I may be up for joining you. IIRC, food and prices at Baker are actually conducive to having a meal there if you have to.

For anyone not familiar with New Jersey Transit, you take the train to Princeton Junction and then the Dinky Shuttle into Princeton proper, so make sure you buy the right ticket. (Destination Princeton.)
The Dinky Shuttle is a tribute to the power of Princeton lobbying. This shuttle runs about a mile from Princeton Junction into Princeton and would have been perfectly adequate as a single diesel powered car. But that would be a bit rougher and noisier of a ride for the Princeton swells, so instead they have a far-costlier million dollar electric car, plus the maintenance costs of the catenary wires overhead. This for a 5-minute ride.
