Cornell, which had been ranked #11 until the upset loss to Penn State at the Cliff Keen Duals, knocked off the team that replaced them at #11, Hofstra, today at Hofstra.
Final: 20-12. Wins by Bogumil, Mormile, Lee (major), Manotti (16-3 major over Jon Masa, ranked #9 nationally), Mazzurco, and Baier. Face Columbia tonight at 7pm.
Do they travel on to Columbia and then wrestle again? If so, that is TOUGH!

Yep. Two meets in a day is not uncommon in wrestling. They do it again next Saturday: at Harvard at 1 and at BU at 5. They're at Brown next Friday at 1pm, where I plan to be.
At the Lone Star Duals they wrestled three meets in one day.

Wow, the only wrestling match I've seen in person was the opening at Friedman against OSU; I can't imagine them doing that twice or three times in a day. Tough, tough stuff, mentally and physically.
Apologies to everyone for carrying on a public conversation...
Rob Koll is awesome. Jack Spates also deserves a lot of credit for putting together a great program for him to build on. What Spates has done in Oklahoma is also very impressive.
