Title: Video tape of Friday Colgate game
Post by: Greg Berge on February 05, 2005, 10:55:53 AM
I would pay or trade for one, within (maybe without) reason.  Just sorry I couldn't be there. :-(

Anyone with a dupe tape please let me know.  BTW, anyone with the ability to dupe VHS, I have about 20 Cornell games on tapes through the years and I'm willing to trade for ones I don't have. :-)

Greg, Time Warner Sports broadcast the game last night & at the end indicated you could purchase a tape by calling them at  315-634-6471 or email TWS26@twcny.rr.com & giving them program name, date & time. I also have it on dvr & would be willing to send a tape to you, although I'm thinking theirs would probably be better quality. What an awesome game! well worth having!

REDhead,

Considering I don't have a VCR, could I ask for a DVR? Should I contact you on your profile email?

I'm making some VHS from my DVR today. If they look good I'll post it. I also emailed them as far as availability.

I've also requested what they have from Time Warner Sports.  I'll let people know what response I get.

I looked at my tape. It's typical VHS SP speed off a TV. Not DVD quality, but as good as anything taped from TV. I could make tapes for anyone for a donation to the pep band. I'll need more T-160 tapes and a few days to do it.

Greg, if you'ld like, I'd be happy to send you one and let you be the judge of quality.

Any ideas?

OK, here's what I can do. I'm copying from the DVR, quality as noted. Anyone who wants one, please email me jfh24@cornell.edu . No private messages since I'll use a mailbox to keep track of them. I'll start sending out Monday PM. Please make a contribution to the pepband for whatever amount you feel is appropriate. Honor system. Once I set up the DVR to the Apple I may be able to do DVDs; don't hold your breath.

Once you receive it, please email me back, so I can take you off the list. Thanks.

Jim or anyone else, I would love to see the clip of Iggy's goal if it's at all possible to get one  on line of any quality.

Greg-fyi I just sent you a private message regarding old hockey tapes, as your listed e-mail address kicked back as undeliverable.  Thanks!  Mike
