Anyone know what's up with Hynes?
I can't get Windows Media Player to connect to the video. Anyone succeeded?
I haven't tried the video.
Shane's back acted up midweek; he will probably be out tomorrow, too.
This is my first buying opportunity and I haven't been able to connect as of yet
This is what I am getting as an error message:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. In the Open URL dialog, try opening the file using a different transport protocol (for example, "mms:").
Well, Gametracker shows Pegs centering Moulson and Bitz (in for Hynes). Somebody here got his wish...well, almost.
Cornell starters:
C Pegs
LW Moulson
RW Bitz
LD Krantz
RD Gleed
G McKee
This email doesn't make me happy
I've just posted a message on our homepage, www.xmievents.com.
We are also very frustrated.
Chris

NOTICE:
All Internet connections to Lynah Rink are down. We worked with Cornell to fix this same problem in December. We checked again late last week, and everything was working.
Tonight, the connection was down again. We are extremely disappointed. We are trying to connect through a nearby office. If this works, we will be online by 7:15 pm tonight.
Cornell tells us they will try and fix the problem for tomorrow. There will be a post in this space updating you.

Krantz - Gleed
Pokulok - Cook
End to end action and chances first two minutes -- very fast pace.
Iggulden hits the post.
Halfway through the first period, shots are 5-4, Dartmouth, but Cornell has had the better chances.
Cornell pp upcoming.
RPI and Colgate up 1-0
Goal!
1 12:55 Cor pp Pokulok 3 (Bitz 6, Scott 8)
Cornell about to go on pp#2.
Moulson, pp, 2-0!
moulson's golden!
2 for 2 on PPlay!!!!!!!!!!!!11:-D
Scott with another assist!
1 14:46 Cor pp Moulson 12 (Scott 9, Cook 8)
Dartmouth pp#1 coming up.
Dartmouth pp killed off.
I missed it--who got called for the penalty?
Gleed.
Schafer is apparently sporting a goatee. Hard to imagine.

Gleed, for holding.
Dartmouth pp#2. "Reserved, O'Byrne."
End of 1st, Cornell 2-0. Dartmouth will begin second with 1:23 of pp.
After one period:
Cornell 2 Dartmouth 0
RPI 1 St. Lawrence 0
Clarkson 0 Union 0
Colgate 1 Vermont 0
Game on, 2nd period begins.
Dartmouth pp#2 now killed off; Cook with 3 great clears.
Cornell pp#3 coming up.
Cornell now going up 5x3.
5x3 for 1:29 coming up
Colgate 2 Vermont 0, in the second.
Moulson fires about 8 wide shots.
One Green back.
Big Red PP buzzing and looking very dangerous
Clarkson 1 Union 0, in the second.
Dartmouth returns to full strength, Cornell 2x4 on pp.
If the broadcast is any indication, Charlie Cook is playing out of his mind tonight.
MSU has 6 goals in the first 25 minutes tonight against Lake State.
Halfway through the second, Dartmouth gets a pair of great chances. McKee has made several tough saves and the shots are pretty even (14-11 CU).
GOAL Krantz!
... we chased the sieve:-D
Pegs is 9-2 on faceoff so far tonight. :-) :-) :-)
did anyone else just lose audio?
Cornell feed just went teats up (for the fifth straight weekend). Anybody know the Dartmouth feed URL?
Dartmouth f(r)eed still going
Sound's up.

[knocking on wood as i say this] i'm still up and running error-free w/ the CU feed
My CU feed is still gone ... :-(
DC PP coming up
CU feed still dead.
Dartmouth feed is fine. Green on pp.
CU PP coming
Even-up call on Dartmouth.
Colgate now leads Vermont, 3-0.
Haven't had any problems with the Dartmouth feed since I started it mid-1st period.
Cook hit hard. Draws the equalizer charging penalty.
CU feed is back
MSU now leads LSSU, 7-0. If MSU goes on a run, I suppose our SOS will be helped.
still not having any problems w/ CU feed
1:05 to go in 2nd, CU :34 of pp.
... then agin the CCHA isn't doing so hot this year. but you're right a run by MSU wouldn't hurt.
pp's:
Dartmouth 0x3
Cornell 2x5
3-0, end of 2nd
I wouldn't mind all ECAC scores holding for the reaminder of the evening.
Scores through 2 periods:
Cornell 3 Dartmouth 0
Colgate 3 Vermont 0
Clarkson 1 Union 0
RPI 2 St. Lawrence 1
I think we'd rather see Union remain a TUC though...and perhaps have Colgate and Vermont tie, or at least Vermont win since Colgate is leading the league.
so maybe it's just me ... has anyone else thought about the fact that Cornell & Colgate are playing so well and therefore are helping eachother by wearing out the teams for the second night of the weekend?
Game on, 3rd period begins.
The North Country teams have benefitted in the past from being simultaneously strong and mutually reinforcing a scary, exhausting weekend trip. Hopefully Colgate-Cornell is creating that synergy now.
Just as we say this, Vermont scores; 3-1 Gate.

Union is right on the bubble of being a TUC. It is to our advantage for them to remain as one especially if we sweep the season series. I'm not sure how likely it is that they will remain a TUC over the next month but it is better than Clarkson's chances of becoming one.
Cornell pp#6 coming up; spearing major. RPI leads SLU 3-1.
Add a DQ. :-O
and a Game DQ [read: he will NOT play tomorrow]
"Shut up, coach! Shut up, coach!"
Great Faithful chant: "Shut Up Coach!" (directed at Gaudet's whining).

I hear arthur in the background "five minutes for spearing and a game disqualification"
then the announcer:
"he got a game misconduct so he might be out tomorrow"
Surprise! The dartmouth announcer doesn't know the difference between misconduct and disqualification... They should start printing it on the tickets or at least the media credentials... it's a dq and yes he's out for tomorrow...
"Let's play hockey, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, Let's play hockey ...":-)
"Pokulok has not has one of his better games with the puck."
A polite way of saying he's coughed it up to Dartmouth defenders about 17 times tonight. ;-)
CU pp still looking to get things set up w/ 1:00 to go
Cornell's playing this major pp very conservatively. BTW, McKee's shutout streak is now:
43:11 +
60:00 +
47:00 =
--------
150:11
Dartmouth returns to full strength and they still suck!
Cornell pp upcoming.
CU pp coming
They seem to be playing it use up time rather than to put a naill or two in the coffin. Not a move I'm happy with, hopefully it won't backfire. But they do get another 2 minutes of PP here :)
Through 10 minutes ot the third period, Dartmouth has zero shots on goal.
Dartmouth pp coming up.
"Another chance for Cornell on the penalty kill." Um, yeah, I guess that's one way of looking at it.
Just had to say something about Dartmouth not shooting, didn't you
3-1
D'oh ... so close to another shutout.
Time to start another scoreless streak!
McKee's shutout streak ends at 155:29.
Cornell penalty kill streak ends at 28.
Cornell feed streak ends at 43:01.
...and there goes the feed again... :-(
Is there any way to get the dartmouth feed w/o having to use windows media player? Mine doesn't seem to want to work tonight...
4:00 to go in regulation.
[Q]Greg Berge Wrote:

1:20:00 and counting on this end
Colgate 4 Vermont 1 (with an eng).
CU feed now back again ...
(they put the hamster back on the wheel)
1:30 to go; Yacey pulled.
1:38 left, and they pulled seive #2

Lets let at least more than 4 scores come in before we proclaim where PWR stands :)
Clarkson got an eng to cap it at 2-0 over Union

But it's such a beatiful sight to behold...
Scores that concern us:
Maine - 1 v. BU -1 [mid 3rd]
Northeastern - 2 v. BC - 4 Final
LSSU - 0 v. MSU - 8 Final
They played very well the first two periods and not so well in the third. My 3 stars were: 1. Pegoraro 2. McKee 3. Krantz

Bitz definitely had his best game of the season. Of course he was playing wing and on the boards a ton compared to his other games this season. He NEEDS to stay there.

Thinking about it...as it is, I'm already considering buying a Mac to replace my PC.
Hopefully there will 60 minutes of uninterrupted feed for tonight's game. Of course, now that I've said it... ::uhoh::
