By the time Cornell pulls into RPI's field house Saturday, the Engineers will have played 24 games. Sheesh. Cornell is at 15 games played. Friday's game at Union will be Union's 22nd.
On the bright side, RPI already has almost as many non-wins (14) as Cornell has games played (15). Only two teams have fewer conference losses than we do, and we have both chances left at one of the one-loss teams, Colgate. That should be a heck of a weekend road trip for out-of-staters who have all-wheel drive.
When you go to USCHO for standings info, it's always a little more upbeat from Cornell's POV to sort by percentage not total points. In conference, that moves us from fifth to fourth (and, if the season ended now, which it hasn't, we'd be paired vs. Harvard in the quarterfinals):
