Title: Ride from Providence Airport
Post by: JDeafv on December 31, 2004, 12:47:33 PM
Kate and I are flying into Providence from Baltimore for the Brown/Hahvahd weekend.  We're looking for a ride from the Providence airport to the Brown game on Friday evening.

We arrive in Providence at 3:45 on SouthWest and would be very grateful to any faithful who could give us a lift.  Another friend is flying in from CA and he's getting a rental car for the weekend, but arriving later so we we're hoping to snag a ride to the game with somebody else, but don't need rides all the way to Boston and back. :)

Let me know via e-mail at jrs55@cornell.edu or reply to thread.

Thanks.

LGR.

Nevermind the fact that we can't find our tickets to the Brown game (probably threw them out while redecorating the den), at least they weren't the Hahvahd tickets, right Judy? Edit: In the 5 minutes since I posted this, Kate found the tickets stuffed in a magazine that we were about to recycle!

I'm flying into Providence at about 4:30 on southwest. I was planning on taking the airport shuttle to the brown campus and walking over to the rink. I think it's $9 or so.  If you can't find a ride, it's cheaper than a cab.  Nevermind that $9 is about a third of the price of an airline ticket to providence on southwest.
