We're better than Quebec?  I didn't read that thing, but is that seriously what it said?  If it were, that would be a gross exaggeration.

no, it did not say we were better tan quebec. it was one of them thar jokes.  it would be nice to think that were second only to the frenchies though.

Interesting that Schafer thinks McKee is a great goaltender.  It sure didn't sound like he thought that in the in the interview in the Journal's preaseason issue.

If you pay attention to what Schafer actually says about McKee, it coincides rather well.  The big thing Schafer harps on is his tendency to get lazy during easy, low shot total games and let in that one soft goal--and in one article specifically (don't remember if it was the journal preseason one or not, sorry), coach goes on to say that he's a better goaltender than that, and now we've seen that's true.  And McKee himself has said in interviews that he flourishes under pressure... and I would guess he probably flourishes in reaction to negative reinforcement as well.
