1 15:43 MSU Lerg (A. Nightingale, Thelen)
3 05:13 MSU Mueller (McKenzie, Graham)
Anybody hear a pre-game show? I've got a silent feed...
Silent.
The sound of silence...
strange that uscho has the game listed as 105pm EST. guess it is wrong :) LGR!
MSU feed is silent too
I heard a mic tap...
hot mic, hot mic...
silent here, too
Why do they toy with us like this? :`(
Bitz in for Carefoot on the pregame
Damn you RealPlayer!!!
Let us all know what's going on in the pregame...none of us can hear it
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just a Pepsi, and she wouldn't give one to me...
MSU feed is up and running
http://msuspartans.collegesports.com/multimedia/msu-multimedia.html
I emailed OSCN, and got this response:
"There is currently a technical issue with the audio source and it is being
worked on as we speak. We hope to have the audio up shortly. Apologies for
the inconvenience."
Cornell feed is up.
I'm at a box seat in the wachovia center in philly watching the 76ers game.... lookin forward to getting game updates here ;)
very cool, J. Grant Hill has been playing great and the Magic should give the 76ers a run...is the stadium a hot spot? Did they let you bring in a lap top?
We're underway! LGR!
any free radio feeds?
only in ithaca on the radio
cool...what station?
Knoepfli-Iggy-Bitz... not bad for a fourth line!

870 AM.
Heard a LGR in the background :-)
Is MSU just trying to get the puck on net? It sounds like we've blocked a lot of half efforts.
Where are our chicken fingers? :-(
LGR! Come on guys! Focus!
Lots of action around the midpoint of the first; Cornell with some pressure, and McKee at least one big save. Still scoreless.
4-1 shots for MSU thus far
Cornell fans "about half a section" making all of the noise
7-2 shots for MSU
McKee has made two huge saves so far by the sounds of it.
Second big save by McKee.
Gametracker is decent at telling me who wins faceoffs and who takes shots (and what happens to them), but it seems like they only update the game clock two or three times a period. It's still "20:00" in the first, according to them. ::rolleyes::
Beeeej
I wish it would track on player stats the total faceoff wins and losses per player.
We have to get a little more control over the puck, or we're going to see a repeat of the string of shorthanded situations we faced Friday.
Cornell late in showing up again. 1-0 MSU.
How much time left in the period?

It does, go to the faceoff summary in the box score.
about 4 min

under 4 minutes. shots 11-2.
Potter goes off for MSU, Cornell on pp.
PP cornell
can make up for a bad period with a succesfful powerplay here.
Pretty weak pp so far.
Downs a good chance on a deflection shot but no soap. Even strength.
End of 1st. Shots on goal 12-8 for MSU.
On the bright side, they didn't take any penalties. Shots were 12-8 for MSU with quality scoring chances probably about 4-2 for MSU.
Hey Baby!
Hi folks,
For those listening, does it sound like we are being outmuscled or out-skated? Or does it sound like we are just a bit sleepy?
Who is Jason Weinstein? Aren't we listening to Adam Wodon?
Adam W has moved on to CSTV...Weinstein did a few games last year
Anybody else find the gametracker hard to read, overburdened with busy moving ads, and unwilling to show more than about 15 lines of play by play at one time?
Yesterday for the football game the tracker stopped for about 5 minutes, those 5 minutes being the last 90 seconds of the game when quite a bit happened.
Of course I'm not watching on TV but it sounds like MSU is getting through the neutral zone without any real problems where as Cornell is really having trouble with it. Also, the one time I heard Cornell really try to set up the cycle, Pegs and Sawada ran into each other.

You must be getting one hell of a tape delay if you hear Adam's dulcet tones.
lame, kind of. Useful as a supplement with the radio? Very.
they do have very similar sounding voices...definitely was confusing for me at first last year
best offensive sequence of the game, and possibly of the weekend, for Cornell.
Huge sequence of saves by MSU
shots now 14-12
Cornell sounds better this period. Good early flurry. Are they too old for Schafer to spank? ;-)
Cornell powerplay.
Lot of missed deflections but we're getting our stick on the puck
MSU kills the power play - 0 for 2 =tonight

Doesn't matter, I'l probably get hit by a bus anyway.

They only seem to update the clock on goals and penalties.
...which is really idiotic.

Penalty against Cam for something stupid...ugh
And just as he says 'Cornell starting to control the play' Cam Abbott gets a penalty "behind the play"
Cornell back shorthanded.
MSU band's version of "Without Me" is very good.
Chris Abbott muffed the centering pass on a shorty bid; we are much, much more dangerous on kill this year.
Moulson has been absolutely a non-factor this weekend. Someone light a spark under this team's ass
Cornell returns to full strength...
Schafer said something like Moulson is best when he's hitting people. Get active, Matt!
shots 19-17 for MSU now
Really time for the powerplay to step with Michigan State's best blueliner (Thelen) in the box.
Vicari stopping us on a few good chances; penalty to MSU, Cornell going on pp.
Gametracker only appears to run 1-2 game-time minutes behind life action.
Can somebody please finish.
Can the Abbotts please finish? ;-)
Nah... in the box seats they have these little internet kiosks. This is a close game so far too... 41-40 in favor of Orlando at halftime. Iverson has been phenomenal.
very cool! Enjoy!
mathcing penalties:
Fretter
Chris Abbott
period over - still 1-0 MSU
how much time in the period?
End of 2nd, 1-0. Cornell outshot MSU 12-7 and outplayed MSU towards the end of the period. Now, we need to score a couple times!
I missed the call...anyone know how there was matching delay of game penalties?
Gametracker has concurrent "delaying the game" penalties to Hynes and Potter at 14:21 of the second period. What was that about?
20-19 shots for Cornell after 2
An MSU fan is watching the game on TV and I'm waiting for him to respond on USCHO about the delay of game penalties.
17 mins to go, Downs with a strong shot easily saved.
"they got tangled up behind the play in front of the MSU bench. could have been roughing or delays of game."
Krantz coughs it up in the D-zone again but we survive. He does that a lot...
2-0
Alrighty, time to win the ECACs...
Downs, O'Byrne, Knoepfli all -2
It's Moulson is best when he's moving his feet. Not hitting people.
Cornell outshooting MSU 6-1 this period, but MSU got the goal.
O'Byrne takes a penalty.
Cornell returns to full strength...
Bitz nearly pots one. I hear the Cornell crowd.
7:51 to go, still 2-zip.
Into the box again... grr...
Hard to tell whether these penalties O'Byrne is taking are necessary or dumb.
Back to even strength; the kill was great this weekend. Penalty now on MSU.
time?
After the kill, another late penalty against MSU. 1:23 to go, 2-0. Man up and McKee pulled, so 6x4.
Check that; just 6x5, Weinstein lying to me. ;-) Timeout, Cornell, 1:00 to go. McKee out. SOG 31-22 Cornell, 12-3 in the third.
Sounds like Vicari returned the favor this afternoon.
Yep, the Red did control the second half of this game, but couldn't get it past him. 2-0, final.
Oh well, back to No. 12
