Title: Club Game
Post by: mike\'05 on October 02, 2004, 11:33:43 AM
Cornell club team played IC last night. About 1600 people on hand as the CU sections got to practice the cheers for the real season. Had a lot of fun.

Those of us sitting in the line around 8PM last night were told that line checks would be suspended for about an hour, in an effort to get us to the club game.  It worked.

Maybe Cornell could field a Division III club team as well as the DI squad.

Great time at the Club game on Friday.  If anyone noticed that our starting goalie did not come out for the third period, someone stole his mask from outside the mini club locker room that cannot fit players + equipment.  Seriously not cool.  Word was it was some IK thugz.  Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Ah, they weren't in a real locker room (I guess I never thought about it, really).  That explains how the mask could have been stolen by an Ithaca College fan so easily.  We were wondering about that.  In any case, the backup goalie did a fine job as well, starting cold in the third.

If the mask was personalized, maybe it's identity theft?
