Hey Greg, for the 2006 predictions, how will Quinnipiac be figured into the standings?  For that matter, how will games against Vermont be considered?

Games against UVM will count the same as they do now -- they're convenient data points (comparison against like opponent under like circumstances).

I'll be thinking of creatively self-serving methods for dealing with QU throughout the season.  Among the ways I am currently considering:
+ Just put them last.
+ Start them last in RS, Prev3, and Prv10; then add the other factors.
+ Ignore them; rank the other 11 teams and consider QU to be an unknown floater.

Why not just put them one position above Union because we all know that "Q" is always followed by "U".  ::rolleyes::

any way we can compare them to the ecac schools at the end of this season thru the schedule like the computer rankings try to do? would that help at all? ::help::

Sure, we can compare Q against the ECAC schools using computer rankings at the end of this upcoming season.  But while KRACH will tell you how Q compares to Princeton this year, it won't say anything about how Q will compare for the 05-06 season.  Certainly it gives an indication, but you have to factor in other effects (graduation, incoming freshmen, etc.) that don't show up in the rankings.

I'd probably choose to take the simplest route and ignore Q for next year's predictions.  But Greg will do what Greg decides to do for TBRW?.
