Denver seems to be taking a TON of penalties...
And they're gonna die if they keep that up. I heard the announcer say that UMD's PP was number 2 in the country. Watching the last 2, even though they didn't score, I can see why. Reminds me of BU's PP in the early 70s.
Well... on the off chance Maine makes it to the final... I'd rather we have a high scoring and capable offense playing against Howard :)
Sounds good to me. I just sent a good luck note to my wife's boss. His nephew plays for BC (Ned Havern). I kidded him that win or lose, they'd make me happy if they just score 3 or more goals against old Jimbo tonight.
One of the better halftime interviews of a player by our own Adam Wodon, but that's just me.
Denver scores! 2-1
Wow. Hell of a goal. 3-1 UMD.
Denver scores... 3-2.
TIED!!!!!! 3-3 16:56 in the 3rd!!!!
From the UMC webcast: "Oh no!"
4-3 DENVER..... 11:35 in the 3rd
One minute remaining ...
UMD pulls goalie... "scores" ... waived off...... play is under review........
UMD goal waived off with ~30 seconds left. (Ref says that it never crossed the line ... review pending.)
This is bringing back bad Buffalo memories...
No goal.
ENG by Denver... this was a CRAZY game. 5-3 final.
ENG by Denver. 5-3, and that should do it.
If Maine moves on, you can bet that I'm rooting for Denver. If BC wins, I'll probably root for the Eagles.

You could also root for Maine to win 5-4 if you're thinking primarily of wanting to see Jim Howard's GAA rise above 1.20.
Is that the tally that's actually needed? 4 goals in one game?

Pretty sure that if BC can get 3, it's a lock for Lenny. If they only get 2, and Maine wins, Howard still gets a shot at a shutout in the final to snag the record. Go Eagles.
