I nominate Facetimer for this one
Hahaha... wow, facetimer, you really are good for something afterall ;-) I am highly amused. Although I still must be doing something wrong if you like me. :-D
As long as I win one of the Facetimer Awards, I'll be happy. :-P
Hilarious if taken with a grain of salt. ::laugh::

You know, this one takes on all new meaning after our last trip to Lynah East...

I thought you found it better than the Mexican place that wouldn't take Josh's ID, though.

I did fine at the Red Line (aside from having to pay part of the astronomical bar tab). Other members of the party didn't fare so well...

I guess I left too early that night. What happened after I left?

Wow...this thread is getting a lot more hits than the corresponding TBRW award posts...

It's because facetimer is sitting in his law office hitting refresh on all of the posts while he waits for a fender bender ;-) :-P
Look at the date of the original post. Facetimer may be clever, but not recently ::nut::
The RedLine night ended when somebody in the party was asked to leave after ::barf::ing in the restroom. A few broken glasses on top of that (how did that happen?) and the night was over pretty darn quick.
Good thing you can't smell these posts!

Considering I had to drive myself and three others back to our hotel, I think we left at exactly the right time.

Man, you guys are animals.
I'm really sorry I missed it. :)
Cheers,

I will thoroughly and whole heartidly support this!
Can I nominate Kevin Du for the Du-che Bag award? :-D
If non-Cornellians don't count, then I also gladly nominate about half of Section G people. I'm a grad student myself (but still feel like a Cornell undergrad at heart), and almost every freakin' game this season, I felt so ashamed with the fact that a lot of the section G people were NOT AT ALL Lynah Faithfuls.
Cheers.

I don't understand. How were they not at all members of the Faithful? Were there frequently a lot of visiting fans there and somehow I missed this (I was in section E all season, so I had a pretty good view of G)?

Besides my buddy next to me, I found myself standing next to (or near) different people at a lot of the games. Also, by the time the puck dropped, the section was often only about 25% full.

Actually, New York->Estero is about 200 miles farther than Ithaca->Minneapolis, so I think Josh, Judy, and I win that one. Also, the miles with Hermo learning to drive stick should count double. ::nut::
On the other hand, many of us were returning to Ithaca from spring break - for me at least, the trip should include a Boston -> CT -> Ithaca component on one end. That's about 400 miles right there...
I just want an award :-)

Better than 2 years ago when someone was asked to leave a certain bar when a bouncer caught her attempting to (http://www.john-hayes.com/misc/bj.gif) her man in a stall.

But was it any of our people involved? And if so, who was it? :-D
Inquiring minds want to know.
(I also want to know who spends his time making emoticons like that.... though I really shouldn't ask)

Indeed, on both counts. ::banana::

Not tellin' ::whistle::

Well, Judy went DC->Providence->NYC->Estero->NYC, and I was on my way back from Switzerland, so...
damn...you win.
:-D

and if you really want to get technical, I had a stop in philly between PVD and NYC.
and you went from NYC up to Boston and then back down to New Orleans.
and the result of all this is showing up for my first day of work being sick and delirious...but at least I planted a seed in the minds of my new bosses that they had a crazed and willing to travel hockey fan on their hands ::crazy::
