Great late goal by DU and the mighty Sioux fall 1-0!

As I have been saying, the consensus #1 team throughout each season frequently ends up not even going to the Frozen Four (IE Colorado College last year).

Well, I think it's usually that the consensus #1 team doesn't win the national championship, though they may make it to the FF.  In any case, that's definitely what happened here.  I hate to say it, but it looks like we're looking at Threepeat here.

Hmmm....hindsight is great....wrong and um, wrong.  But Minnesota did win the women's title - does that count for a two and a half-peat.  Be kind of funny if Minnesota-Duluth won the men's title now after three straight women's titles.
