Does anyone know a place to catch Saturday's televised game against Yale in NYC? Due to my unwillingness to donate half my salary to Time Warner, I lack access to NESN or Empire Sports. Thanks.
Cornell Club at 6 East 44th?
Blondie's on W. 79th is a great place for it; they have the best wings in the city (though that's not saying much), and as long as you call in advance, they're willing to put any reasonable sporting event on at least one television. I watched the Cornell-Colgate game there last season, and we had only three people.
Of course it might be a little tougher during a weekend full of college basketball conference tourneys, but that's why I say call in advance.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Tap & Grill at the Cornell Club doesn't receive satellite TV, so no game there.
you can try the Park Avenue Country Club on Park Ave South. We use it as a site for our satellite game annually so they know the ECAC!
How does the Cornell Club not have satellite TV? What good is the damn thing if you can't at least gather there to watch Big Red sporting events?
I just called the Park Ave CC and spoke to a very dimwitted woman who told me that they wouldn't be showing Cornell/Yale because "they don't get AHL games." When i told it its a college game in the ECAC, she said she "didn't see ECHO games on her shcedule" either. The end result was that she didn't see the game on her schedule (maybe because the deal to broadcast the game was made last week.) I know from past experience that they do get Empire sports there, so they should have the game.
I'll be there anyway watching the Ivy League Basketball Tournament Final (or whatever you want to call it), so i'll ask then if they can get the hockey game on, but the best bet is for anyone else who wants to try it to give them a call and badger them about it before heading over.

A second call to the P.A.C.C. and a conversation with a different employee reveals that they will get the game and can spare a TV.
How pissed off am I that I am going to be stuck at work? :-(
Let this be a lesson to anyone who is considering law school. :-/
