Great news!  Thanks for alerting us to the alert!

Yup, Athletics and CIT were both scrambling on this, this week. Apparently i2Sports is very dependent on students... who are on spring break this weekend!

Having the video netcast be free for the Quarterfinals is a nice touch.

Oh son-of-a.... The one week it's free is the one I'm going skiing.  *sigh*  (I know, why are you going skiing during playoffs?)

Three dancing bananas for Al and the others who are making this possible.  Note:  dancing bananas intentionally omitted for the sake of not overusing them.

FWIW at 5:05, I was able to connect to the "Main Link" but not to the "Test Link"--either directly or via cutting and pasting the URL.

Same with me...okay on the main link but not the test link....however I just get a blue screen with the main link....I am assuming that it is not turned on yet?  Is anyone getting a live picture yet?

OK. For someone who hasn't had the opportunity to watch a net broadcasted  game yet this year please inform ... What version of WMP do I need? Thanks in advance!

So there will be video...but no graphics.  Will there be Adam Wodon's audio?  Or we will have to guess at the score if we tune in during the middle of the game?

Just tried the main and test links at 5:38 and both show a live shot of Lynah...now sure what the difference is between the two but I'm sticking with the main. Awesome!

test is a much more grainy video feed--lower quality.  Stick with main!  Very excited that I get to see this game!

You may be able to change your buffer setting in WMP - I had to do this once when playing video.

I've got the latest version of WMP, and in TOOLS l OPTIONS, then the PERFORMANCE tab, I can play with the buffer settings, although right now I have it set to the default.

They became much more adept at turning Adams mic on and off for the webcast, I assume they are doing the same with the video after yesterday went so smoothly.  Expect the audio and video to come on at 6:30 with the pregame.

That's what I'm thinking, too.  Yesterday they had to do a lot of pre-game testing--to make sure it was gonna work.  Hope we're right, atb9.:-P

Haha!  Yeah, that explanation (aka guessing) is more to calm my nerves...I'll go crazy if Cornell teases us and turns on the video at 7:00pm

by the way, since I just found out that ugarte is BRA...I'm Adam Brown
