Just caught espnradio in the middle of Kornheiser saying some good things about Coach Knowles and Cornell. Part of it was talking about how Knowles chose CU over Harvard for college because the campus felt so right and how he felt it again when he visited to talk about the job.
Anyway, it was about 12:15 in his 11-1 show. I think they usually have the whole show up later on espnradio.com, so check it out.
He was also talking about how when you have a choice between coaching for your alma mater and another school, 9/10 times your alma will win out -- you'll feel that "pull."
I liked the quote from one of the coaches about not disgracing the seniors, who have worked so hard for the past three years, by saying "we'll win it in 3 years." Instead, he said "we'll win it now." Do you remember which coach Tony attributed to saying that? Was it Knowles?

Yeah, he said that was Knowles answer when Pres. Lehman asked how long it would take him to build a winner. Gotta love that.
