Title: Did ECAC ever announce the TV deal?
Post by: upperdeck on March 08, 2004, 11:33:58 AM
since it was discussed below that they have a deal with several networks and its now 2 days later, wouldnt it make sense to let people know what games are on so they might be able to watch them? I didnt see any mention on the ECAC site today, wonder where else they might be letting people know ??

I believe the Harvard-Brown game is being televised on CN8 and Time Warner this Friday night.

Yep, that's it.  Here's the announcement:

"Multiple networks".  None of them available via satellite of course.  Welcome to the bush leagues. ::rolleyes::

Of course, if it'd been exclusively on CSTV, those who have cable would be equally S.O.L.

Those with cable anywhere in the United States could go to a sports bar to watch CSTV.   The regional cable coverage prevents people from outside the Northeast region to watch the games that aren't broadcast on Empire Sports Net.

CSTV is on in a lot of cities now.. my issue is that they didnt try to get any regional  sports network, or at least didnt try hard enough.. yes/msg/foxne/empire all have aregional following for lots of alumni and most dont have any real programming to replace..
