There was an interesting article in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle today about Sam.

That was a great article. Thank you for the URL. :-)
ROFL. Note the pronunciation bit :-D
From the article:
"Paolini (pronounced POWell-ini) stands 6-feet-1 and weighs 205 pounds. The left-hander prides himself on being a physical presence -- and an opportunistic scorer -- for the Big Red. "
Great article. What game do you think that picture was taken at? It looks like princeton but the goalies number is clearly not 75.
>>> Paolini, who grew up in Greece and played on the Spencerport varsity squad
Only in Rochester would "Greece" with no modifiers refer to a town and not a country... Ahh local news!
/Mark::rolleyes::

Wow, that's a toughie. The best I can do is that either it's from the Union game last fall, and that's Brandon Snee, and the uniform just looks very dark because of a trick of the lighting, or that it's the home game against Brown from last season, and that's Brian Eklund. Eklund is who it most LOOKS like, but the ads on the boards certainly seem to be those from this year. Honestly, I'm stumped. :-)

Wow. I took one glance at the photo and instantly recognized it as Vermont. I know that they haven't worn names on their unis at Lynah since "the incident," they have the white and yellow piping across the back, trendy rounded digits, and (at least on my monitor) the jersey looks green. The orange lettering is just on the pads. Looking at the UVM roster, #30 is Tim Peters, who replaced Conshafter for the 3rd period at Lynah in January.
See the following picture off of eLynah for Age's view of the same game:

That's green? Yeah, now that you point it out I immediately recognize the style of the unis, but the coloring looked really weird.
