Yale goalie Gartner spears SLU's Rank in the groin and gets a DQ.

SLU scores on the safety sieve to tie it 2-2 in the 2nd.

SLU just tied Yale at 2.  Yale's goalie, Gartner, was tossed early in the 2nd.  An SLU player (Hogg?) was tossed in the first minute of the game.

I think all of these are at the end of the second period:

RPI 3 Princeton 1

SLU 3 Yale 2

Harvard 2 Vermont 0

Clarkson 5 Union 1

That Martinez guy over at USCHO, by the way, predicted series wins this weekend by RPI, Harvard, Clarkson, and St. Lawrence.

If that indeed does happen (and those 4 teams are winning their Game 1s right now), we'd play Clarkson.

In the 3rd period:

RPI 5 Princeton 2
Harvard 3 Vermont 0
Clarkson 5 Union 1
St. Lawrence 3 Yale 2

If all results held, Cornell would play Clarkson.

Cornell does nothing...moves up to 17th in the pairwise!

Anyone go to or listen to the Clarkson-Union game?  I looked at the box score and saw that Clarkson had 2, not 1, but 2, ENG SHGs midway in the 3rd.  Union must have gotten desperate, being down 5-1 after 2, and pulled the goalie for a 2-man advantage when they got a couple of power plays.  Not often that you see that, but then to actually have it backfire twice in 1:10.  Amazing.

Now that's something I like to see... especially because the Yale radio said something about Cornell losing tonight... I literally yelled at the radio "That's impossible!  They're not playing tonight, dipsh!t!!"  ...I think I scared the guy playing the fork, who was in the passenger seat at the time.

If we get to the final of the ECAC tourney and a few other things fall into place, an at large bid MIGHT BE POSSIBLE?

You are correct, sir!  I am the spoon.  WOO!  ...How much do I want the little kid to come out during curtain calls dressed as a spork?!
