Hey everyone
Go to www.USCHO.com and vote for David McKee. It is under Question of the Week. The question is....
Which freshman year-to-date stat is most impressive?
35% Brady Murray (North Dakota) has posted 16-21-37 in 27 games.
17% T.J. Hensick (Michigan) leads nation with assists (30).
14% Dominic Vicari (Michigan State) leads nation with 6 shutouts.
12%David McKee (Cornell) is fourth nationally with 1.73 GAA. [/U]
9%David Brown (Notre Dame) and Jeff Jakaitis (LSSU) are tied for third nationally with .930 save %.
7% I don't know / Not sure / No opinion.
6%Matt Christie (Miami) leads all freshmen with 18 goals in 32 GP.
Total votes: 1642
:-) ;-) ::help::
[Q]7% I don't know / Not sure / No opinion. [/Q]
I still amazes me that 115 people looked at all of those worthy choices and then decided to click "I don't know." Why bother?!
A few weeks ago McKee was in first with 36%
McKee might get more votes if they pointed out how many games he's played. It would be easy to look at his GAA and assume that the stat is inflated because he's platooning with a more experienced goalie.
