Does anyone know if there are still RPI tickets available, and if there is a visitors section? I swear I sat there last year (behind the goal, opposite the band), but a friend of mine that graduated from RPI last year swears there isn't a visitors section and that anyone can sit there...

I got ours last Saturday evening before the Yale game at the CU Ticket office. There seemed to be about 40 or so left at that time. The visitors sections at RPI are behind the west goal. Our seats are in Section 1. Their band is behind the east goal. serves.

There are always tickets available at the door in Troy. The only game that sells out at RIP is the "Freakout" which took place a week and a half ago.
RPI has a visitors section on metal stands behind the goaltender. It's on the opposite side from where their band plays.
Once you've sat in that section for warmups you'll remember it. Each year a few fans seem to take it personally when the pucks hit them during warmups. They claim that the player did it on purpose. The RPI players shoot hard into the boards but I'm sure they don't intentionally put shots into the crowd.
Just keep an eye out because there are lots of flying pucks.

Not any more. There's a hideous white net up now. Granted, it's much safer, but it makes for a crappy view.
As of around 2 pm today (Tuesday) there were about 13 tix left at the CU box office. They will be sending any remaining tix back to RPI at 4 pm tomorrow.
