On now on many Fox Sports Network affiliates.
I'm on the lynah chat at the moment, but I'll be multi-tasking.
2-2 at the end of the first.
Scranton Wilkes Barre's Matt Murley (via RPI) scored the opening goal for Planet USA.
After mentioning yet again that LeNeveu is from Colgate, they seem to have finally gotten it right. Just before the end of the 2nd, they mentioned he was from Cornell about 4 times trying to make up for it.
A few of us in #lynah used Fox Sports' feedback form to inform them of their error. They must have got the message. :-)
Seems like Lenny is getting lit up so far, he's allowed 3 goals on 10 shots. But then again...it is an all-star games...scores tend to be high.
Canadians 7, Planet USA 3 after the 2nd.
Nothing yet allowed in the third (cue: jinx)..
This is cool to watch him.
Right on cue.
I was hoping to be able to watch....but they decided it would be best to show the game tape-delayed at 1am instead of live........
From the box score on theahl.com:
GOALIES
NAME DEC MIN SHOTS SAVES
31 Wade Dubielewicz 30:57 25 23
1 Ray Emery WIN 29:03 25 22
39 Ryan Miller 30:56 20 16
37 David LeNeveu LOSS 29:04 21 16
I think Lenny threw the game to give Canada the win... we all know he's better than that ;)... them trick-sy Canadians
Well, remember, it is an All-star game where defense is pretty much non-existent. It's like playing against a big continuous power play. Lenny was left out to dry on a couple of those.
I saw the 2nd period. I couldn't fault him on the goals he gave up. He had no defense in front of him on them. Plus he made some great saves.
He did the Red proud.

That's why I don't bother watching hockey All-star games. I saw a couple minutes of the NHL game the other day and found myself yelling "Hit him!" constantly until I turned it off.
The only reason I bothered with the AHL game was that Lenny was playing. I skipped the NHL game (tho I watched the skills contest).
