HOW BOUT ANOTHER UPDATE
Sorry, I was giving the kids a bath ;-)
Hard to flip the radio back and forth between hockey and football.
chill with the caps unless you truly are a screamer.
No updates on ESPN.com for the Ivy League which is...normal.
I NEED MORE , MORE
whats wrong with them...yale lost to brown twice, we annihilate brown and we're losin to yale...this doesnt make any sense...meanwhile princeton and penn are slowly crawling back into the race and are gonna pull away before we know it
ouch
Announcer said it just seemed like Yale wanted it more.
too bad...thanks for the update!
BAD loss, BAD freakin loss
Yup. We couldn't afford that one.
Relax. Yale is a good team. You can't expect to win 5 straight Ivy games on the road. This year's teams is good but not that good. A win at home on Friday but's the Red right back on top.
What's disappointing is the 2 points in the final 6 minutes. Seems they just ran out of gas.
It'll be nice to have some home games.
You're right, but we can dream, can't we? ;-)
It's just that it's tough to count on wins against those "P's" so it always seems you have to win the other ones to have a chance.
its safe to say that if we get smacked by princeton next friday night, we know theres no hope of winning the league.
that's the optimism we're looking for! ::rolleyes::

That or we're one to one and a half games back with 8/9 to play...
Don't overlook the fact that Princeton has to face Penn on tuesday before coming to ithaca friday. That's not exactly a schedule I envy.
1:20 to play in OT
Harvard 46
Princeton 46
Princeton 46

Princeton ball 8 sec to go or so

I went to the Cornell-Yale hoops game tonight to check out our first-place Big Red, and they looked awful. Barnes, the Ivy's top scorer, kept dribbling too much and turning the ball over. Toppert, the league's second-leading scorer entering the weekend, only had three points. We trailed 38-22 at halftime, made a run to cut Yale's lead to 8 midway through the second half, and had a chance to cut the lead to 6. But we missed a shot, Yale scored and our comeback was over. Our defense in first half was horrible -- most of Yale's baskets came inside the paint and their big center scored on hook shots in the lane all night.
Even so, we'll take a 5-1 Ivy record after playing five straight road games. The true test comes next weekend against Penn and Princeton.
By the way, Yale pep band at hoops game is pathetic -- out of tune, etc.
any word on the princeton-harvard game?
yep the tigers win by EIGHT in 2ot...just as i expected
Yale was able to keep up with UCONN. In fact, IIRC, Yale was ahead at halftime.
