Title: The Quints (and we ain't talkin' Dionne here)
Post by: Beeeej on March 03, 2002, 01:19:16 AM
Okay, I can live with Yale.  They're not that good a team, as they proved by finishing 9-11-2 in the ECAC.  They managed to put together two pretty good games against us, and we still came away with three points out of four.  I think over a three-game series the right team will win.

Do we have authoritative word yet on what time game 3 would be on Sunday if it has to be played?  I'm horrified by the thought of having to listen to it in Manhattan if it's a 7pm game instead of being there in person.

(It's probably printed on my tickets, but those are across town at the moment and I'm impatient.)

The tickets say 7PM, but whether that is true is another story entirely.

Has the Sunday game ever not been at 7pm?  I'd love for it to be earlier, since I have a 6am flight out of Albany Monday, but I'm taking this an another reason to root for a sweep.

Is there anyone we can talk to about moving the game to 3pm? It'd be better for everybody traveling...

Else, is there anyone between DC and Ithaca who reads these boards who may want to carpool cuz I have problems driving late at nights (get sleepy).

I really really hope we sweep...

Feel free to write Schafer or Laura Stange or Tim Taylor (there's probably contact info on Yale's web site).  But I bet they would think that giving the teams a little more time to rest before playing their third game in three days takes precendence over ease of travel for fans.
Let's just end it in two and not worry about Sunday...

The following page states that all games begin at 7 PM:

Yeah, I know they probably want to give the guys a rest...and that it would be better for the team and them being rested...but again, here's hoping we can sweep.

well, i'm actually thinking about southwest bwi/albany and hitching a ride with melissa this weekend. it leaves the departure time a little more flexible.

but what airline was it that you managed to get the $87.
