Title: voteforhobey
Post by: Lenny Lesser on January 12, 2004, 06:01:15 PM
I don't know if anyone said this yet.  But, nominations are being accepted for the Hobey Baker Award.  Go to www.voteforhobey.com and vote.  So far, Vesce is 3rd in nominations. Moulson is 12th.

Wow, Vesce was in first not less than a week ago when I put in a nomination.

I probably should make a new thread for this, but since this is recent...

There's an article on the ECAC website at http://hockey.ecac.com/Page_for_Men/newsandnotes/Hobey_Baker_Watch concerning Yann Danis's chances for Hobey.

As a goaltender, does he have that much more of a chance than Lenny did last year, due in part to the fact that Brown is not as well known for their defense as Cornell was?

His stats, while impressive, are not as good as Lenny's were, nor does he have as many shutouts as Ryan Miller did a few years back.

Thoughts?

A possible reason why Danis has jumped into the lead for the Hobey is due to his Web page sponsored by Brown Athletics!

www.yanndanis.com

Are there any web pages developed for Vesce? or Moulson?
