Not sure if this was posted somewhere else but Cornell/Harvard standing room only tickets go on sale today (Monday, 1/5) at 10 a.m. BY PHONE ONLY. The number is 1-877-GO-HARVARD or 617-495-2211. There is a 4 ticket limit per order.
This makes sense.
On the Harvard ticket info page for men's hockey ( http://gocrimson.ocsn.com/ot/tixmhock.html ), the info for their game against Cornell has been changed from "sold out" to $12.00.

Any idea how many SRO tickets will be available?
Never mind answering that question (for my sake, anyway), I got my tickets for me and some of my friends. (There's a total of six of us going, so another person will purchase the other two.) According to the guy I talked to, I was the first one to call and buy today, too. :-D

I got through after a few tries and got four. No sweat. I was waiting for the guy to look me up and tell me that I couldn't buy any because I already bought the 4-pack so I could get belligerent, but no such luck. Oh well...

Got my 2 tickets this morning. The woman said they only had a little over 100 tickets available, so congratulations to all those who got them!
So there will NOT be a student ID- system at the doors? Which means scalpers galore?

The official count was 150 tickets available with a sellout by 1 p.m. I thought we would have easily sold it out in 30 minutes.
by my rough rough estimation, about 300 seats are guaranteed to be for Cornellians (this is excluding the 4 pack tickets). with the 4 pack tickets, i would imagine that we have about 400-500 amongst us. does that sound about right? that still seems to be a bit low.

I'm pretty sure that after the 1st game in the 4 pack (Princeton, I believe), th e 4 pack "deal" was no longer in effect. From that date till today, only Harvard affiliates were able to purchase tickets. Starting today, they became available to the general public.
This is just my guess, but I'm still a bit skeptical, and have a hunch that they still have tickets left. They may be holding onto a bunch to try to coerce their non-existent undergraduate fans to go to the game. Perhaps later on in the week (maybe Wednesday), they will have some more SRO tickets. This is purely my opinion/speculation.
When I called, they said every seat had been sold (and, as previously noted in this thread, there were no SRO tickets left).
Yeah...and thats the same thing the ticket office there told me two weeks ago....so who knows what that means. Damn! the one day I dont get a chance to check the site :(
someone should call, say they are an undergrad, and are wondering if there will be any tix avail for undergrads to go see Harvard hockey, since that is what you came to Harvard for after all!
