Title: Chicago Alumni in the Pros - Jan 2004
Post by: David Harding \'72 on January 04, 2004, 04:08:18 PM
Following up on a suggestion from a couple of weeks ago, here's a fresh topic for posting news of Chicago Alumni in the Pros.

To kick it off, here's a story from today's Chicago Tribune Magazine on the Wolves.  Playing up the home town angle, Steven Baby is featured.

[q] While the rest of his Wolves' teammates were at the Drake, rookie Stephen Baby (pronounced BAH-bee)--all 6-foot-5, 230 pounds of him--was at home on the North Shore. The real trimming for his Thanksgiving meal was getting to be with his parents, sister and other relatives.

"This was the first time in six years we've all been at the same table at Thanksgiving with Stephen," said his mother, Susan. "This was unique. I know his grandmother was very happy."[/q]

There's more.  The print edition had a mug shot of him and a photo of his mother serving him breakfast at home.

You mean Cornell Alumni in the Pros, right? :-P  You should probably change the thread name. ;-)

Chicago Alumni works...those alumni that are living in Chicago, like Baby...  ;-)  I can't imagine that he wants to update us on all of the alumni like Avash does!
