Higher than most of us expected. Sweet!
We moved up to #10...which is about high as any of us in #lynah last night thought we'd go, tops. That's certainly great for us.

More important was the significant move in Krach even though it is a shadow of the PWR.
Up to #8 at Inside College Hockey.

The best part of the Inside college hockey poll:
Dropped out: Harvard

The only instance of how people can drop out and still get As. :-P
Contributing to thread drift, did anyone catch the "cocktail napkin" story listing the 14 stories they "missed" in 2003:
http://www.insidecollegehockey.com/7Archives/Napkins/napkin_0218.htm
[q]
David LeNeveu: "Yeah, it's pretty much the system."
[/q]
[Q]Local newspaper reporter fabricates NCAA game stories without leaving town; convinces fans that they won the national title.[/Q]
::laugh::
[Q]Fan reaches over plexiglass, extends UNH's NCAA Tournament misery another year.[/Q]
Steve Bartman is a UNH fan, too? :-D
notice harcard isn't on that list:-P :-D
Weekend results of teams immediately above and below us:
7. UNH, L-Yale
8. St. Cloud, T-NoDak, tonight vs NoDak
9. Michigan, idle
10. Cornell, idle
11. UMass, L-Lowell
12. OSU, idle
13. Dartmouth, W-Vermont
So, I'd expect us to stay put at #10, unless St. Cloud really gets blown out, or the voters really punish UNH.

Maybe the voters will finally see that UHN isn't playing up to their potential this season--tied for #19 in the pairwise, a rather lukewarm 11-7-2 overall record, few wins over good opponents. Obviously, the voters keep seeing last season's championship game, but that was last year's team.
Hey, it could happen.
Yep, there have been several comments to that effect on USCHO. UNH has now won just one of their last 5 games, and had gotten blown out by Niagara, Providence, and Merrimack at home.
I think they were living off the early November week when they bombed BU and Maine and tied BC, but since then they've basically been Harvard.
Maybe they're headed for a big plunge in the polls.

LOL... or maybe the semifinal, since they didn't look all that great in the championship game. ::nut::

True, though what I was trying to say is, the fact that they made it that far still counts for something, even though that was last season and this is this season.
