I called several bars in Albany and none were willing to show the game (because of football).
However, Time Warner digital customers: Channel 1865 on digital cable is showing the game, PROVIDED YOU HAVE HDTV. It is called "In Demand HD 1" - This is a free channel.
Update: You can get the sound (but not the video) of the game if you go to your cable box settings menu, go to Audio: Digital Out, and adjust the settings between Dolby digital and other. You might need to have your TV hooked up to an appropriate sound system for this to work, but I don't know for sure.
I just discovered the fact that the Cornell game will be on HDTV and I'm pumped! I really hope for a win too and another game tomorrow (the consolation is not on tv).
hey guys
great that the game is on here - got here from ithaca in time to watch the game. pretty sweet! hd rocks ::nut::
This is the first hockey game I've seen in HD and it's nearly as good as actually being in the rink. It's in full wide screen too. Going back in a minute for the 3rd period. LGR!!!
I thought the whole HDTV thing was stupid... until now...
