Post by: HOTELCALIFORNIA on November 29, 2003, 10:20:28 PM
I never seemed to get notified of the afterglows. Does anyone have some kind of schedule? Or way to find out? Merci:-D

Why should we? You'd just go there and get in McKee's face. (By the way, he was brilliant tonight.)

Well, that is an exaggeration.  He had a good game, and he made some very nice saves, but he didn't face many shots.  Mercyhurst sent most of their good opportunities wide of the net.

Ummm... actually no I wouldn't do that to someone's face, I'm not that low even though most of you think I am.
I asked a serious question and I got some crap.
Let me ask one more time, could someone please tell me how to find out about afterglows? Thanks much.

They're almost always on a Saturday - and they're always announced several times during both games of that weekend (if there are two games, anyway).  So if you're "missing" them you're merely not listening.

If you want a schedule for the Afterglows, you should contact the CHA.  There is contact information in "Faceoff!"

They seem to schedule about one per month, and they aren't generally held during breaks, intersession, or one-game weekends.  And, as Beeeej has pointed out, they are announced during the game.  They used to put a sign on the Zamboni (or is it the Roby Steamer) as well, but I don't remember seeing it recently.

I thought we use an Olympia ice-resurfacing machine at Lynah, no?  ;-)
