I'll be there and I would appreciate it.

When was your last visit to the old barn?
Huge weekend with a better Q team (especially in net) and then an improving Princeton the next night. Things could go south quickly if this weekend goes the wrong way

11/1-2 2024. Sweeping North Dakota.
I am 4-4-0 lifetime vs Quinnipiac. 12-7-3 vs Princeton.
Wanna grab lunch before the game?
We had 80 shots on the SHU weekend. That'll play.
I have heard Friday is a white out. Is this true? I may need to make a sartorial statement.

So they sent an email a few hours ago:
Hello Big Red fans,
Lynah Rink is one of the loudest, loyalest, most intimidating barns in college hockey, and this weekend it's showtime.
This weekend at Lynah
Men's Ice Hockey vs. #6 Quinnipiac | Friday, November 6 | 7:00pm
Men's Ice Hockey vs. Princeton | Saturday, November 7 | 7:00pm
A top-10 opponent and an Ivy League rival, back to back. Bring your voice and your red.Which would suggest "wear red".
But then in the CALENDAR, they have it as a whiteout.
So now I'm just confused.
Never have i ever seen any of these "white- outs"/"red-outs" get more than 50% of people to wear the appropriate color.

Red-out is one thing because we normally wear red. White-out annoys me because I have one *nice* Cornell jersey which is red and then my much worse "practice" white (that only comes out for white-out days). Plus it really grinds my gears that people tend not to follow it. (This is my deep personal gripe, but for whiteout last year they gave out whiteout T-shirts to people who didn't read the email and came in red/other colors, and I didn't get my hands on one of those shirts because I... followed instructions 😂)
Also, white-out makes sense when we play a TEAM THAT WEARS RED.

Winnipeg is the only place that ever did it right.

But I don't want to wear white

Yeah. I wear my away game-worn jersey to all games. If anyone is upset by a red game-worn jersey at Lynah, I can live with that.
Get in the spirit. Even Trotsky is not contrarian enough to be a wet blanket over this. Just get a white sweatshirt or something to wear, make it awesome and help Lynah, the team and, like, don't be a stick in the mud.

Isaac and I will be wearing white tonight, but in Brooklyn. Can't speak for dss28.
Because PSU does white outs when its pretty much their color doesnt mean every school can pull it off..
On top of that many of these schools provide shirts to help the effect.
Cornell should always be a red out. The main problem is unless you have a jersey most people don't have many red items to wear.
