Now who are the As gonna be... I want to say Catalano gets one? And maybe they hit one of our transfer sophomore Dmen (Fisher or Ashton) with one? Rest of the senior class is Kraft, Devlin, Fegaras. Could also see Kraft getting one a la FFJOL.

Hey, it would be entertaining at least.

But on a realer note, we don't know the locker room dynamics. Could be he'd make a great A, Tkachuk-style.

It would be legal for him to argue with the ref on the way to the box.  That's a win.

I'm just excited that we're likely to have our first 100-point career scorer in, well... seems like forever.

Even with Castagna's departure, we're building quite a stable of offensive talent. We have four other guys who, if they stay for four, might reach the 100-point mark, and one of them's a defenseman! If that happened, he would very much be the first in "forever." (Chris Norton's senior season was my family's first full season at the rink.)

Might we dream of a 20-goal season?

Speaking of stats that haven't been broken in a while, just pulled up Walshy's page to check how far away from 100 he is and they've added bios for this season. Did you know that Walsh posted career-high five assists against RPI (Nov. 22), becoming first Cornell player with five assists in a game since Casey Jones '90 on Jan. 6, 1989, against Brown?

Walsh is at 86 btw. Unless he gets hurt or similar, he'll almost certainly eclipse 100 in his Cornell career.

I wish there was somewhere I could find a sorted list of most points in a Cornell career... I see Moulson had 130-something in 4 years, and had the last 20-goal season on file...

2025-26 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Served as one of 12 skaters to appear in all 34 games ... totaled 30 points (11-19—30), ranking third on team and his 11 goals were second-most on team ... became first Cornell freshman with a 30-point season since Riley Nash (12-20—32) in 2007-08 and only the third player to do so since 1988-89, also joining Kyle Knopp (11-22—33) in 1995-96 ... registered nine multi-point games, highlighted by season-high four-point game against Alaska (Jan. 9 — 2-2—4) ... eight other multi-point efforts saw him have two points each ... had six power-play points (3-3—6) ... posted plus-20 rating, second-best figure on team ... won ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week three times (Jan. 12; March 2; March 16).
