The topic in Strands, in today's NY Times puzzles, is "Ivy League." The nicknames of only two schools are excluded. I like to think it's only because ours and Dartmouth's are each two words.

Even if they were to go colloquial shortening, "GREEN" could work. "RED" still wouldn't be possible due to the four letter minimum.
