The Museum of the Earth - I was literally there a few weeks ago. Man, I really hope they find some way to cover those costs :(

An anonymous Cornell alum chipped in a million dollars back in January, but they have a long way to go.  https://ithacavoice.org/2025/04/donation-spike-gives-museum-of-the-earth-new-life-but-future-remains-uncertain/

Story says they found the money to pay off the mortgage costs so that should help going forward.

The publicity campaign was fruitful.  They can retire the mortgage and keep operating through the end of the fiscal year June 30, 2026. The Director's heart-warming/tear-jerking blog post is here:  https://www.priweb.org/blog-post/priwonderfullife  Perhaps not having mortgage payments will let them cover operations, and I hope that there is not an accumulation of deferred maintenance ready to bite them.
