Starting the thread:
Last Saturday Cornell's defensive backfield had trouble covering the deep pass routes. Credit has to go to the Brown qb who was dropping the passes in great position for his receivers. Cornell's receivers stepped up last week and lets hope they keep it going and that Doryn Smith is available to play. Princeton is beatable IMO and am hopeful that Cornell steps up tomorrow.
Princeton has a great passing attack. Can Cornell limit the long pass plays on defense and not turn the ball over on offense. Hope the freshman WR and RB keep contributing.
Too many turnovers by Cornell.
We lack "snap" on offense. QB play is mediocre at best.
Cornell has forced two fumbles deep in Tiger territory and has come back from down 14-0 to up 20-17. Blocked XP by Princeton hopefully doesn't come back to haunt us.
Princeton hit a deep shot while the QB got obliterated but the defense stood strong and forced another punt (4th and 25!)
Cornell starts the drive inside their own 20 with ~8 minutes to go.
Cornell grinding down the field, Tiger D seems gassed. Princeton forced to take their first time out. 2:30 left. Cornell has 2nd and 4 at the Princeton 30ish.
Princeton did on second takes the clock to the 2 minute warning. Time out after stuffing a screen at 1:54. Cornell lines up to go for it on 4th and 5 but calls their own TO.
I suspect Cornell lines up to go again and GBS quick kick punts it...
Delay of game for Cornell to make now space really making me think quick kick... yes. but GBS pops it into the end zone.
Cornell D needs to stand strong. incomplete on first.
Incomplete, ball batted down at the line.
Complete for 37. Terrible DB play.
scramble for 5, incomplete. 3d and 5 from the 38.
incomplete...
PASS TIPPED INCOMPLETE CORNELL PULLS OFF THE COMEBACK AGAIN
Swanstrom recruits killing it. Once we shifted away from the upperclassmen, we started winning.
Wow. I may actually have to go to the game at Penn next weekend!
Two gritty wins the past two weeks, but we were pretty fortunate to win either game. But these are games we routinely lost in the past, so we'll take 'em.

we didn't give up a point in the second half. we won the game by forcing two fumbles and playing great short yardage defense because princeton chose to give up on the run and didn't have much of a short passing game. our guys pulled off a methodical 6+ minute drive to put Princeton on the back foot and then closed it out with a smothering set of downs. we could have lost but we absolutely deserved to win this one.

This has been a big part. Next season looks very promising with another potentially good recruiting class, and hopefully their best WR returning to playing form.
Attend a Cornell football game! They are fun and always competitive. Cornell rushed for over 200 yards and the defense woke up yesterday.
