Title: NHL Mention
Post by: melissaa on October 30, 2003, 02:32:32 PM
Cornell gets kudos from the NHL website once again.

From their most recent West Notes is a bit on Dustin Brown's good chance of staying up with the Kings after recent injuries in their line-up. Included in the little write-up is the following:

A native of Ithaca, New York, Brown was the Kings' first pick (13th overall) in last June's Entry Draft.

"Dustin's an American kid," Taylor says, "and it's interesting that he was born in Ithaca, New York, which is home to Cornell University and a very proud hockey tradition. But Dustin elected to go play junior hockey in Canada. He got three years of great experience in Guelph."
