Title: [OT] Throwing fish
Post by: Roy\'82 on October 27, 2003, 10:31:57 PM
I am from NYC so far be it for me to suggest it but...

If I were to root against the Yanks next year, itwould seem entirely appropriate to toss some fish. Sure you would immediately get booted from the stadium but you would be famous.

Just trying to spread the Faithful traditions.

I don't think there is much fame at the booking station.  People who misbehave in extreme fashion are given a trip to the holding tank.

Just be glad you don't live in Philly.  There's a courtroom in the stadium.  Tried and convicted before the 9th inning.

Faithful traditions should be kept among the Faithful, and with regard to a tradition like fish throwing, that should definitely be kept to Lynah.  (Although the idea of tossing fish at Lynah East would be funny too, but that seems like a good way to get kicked out of the game early.)

No word on whether the new Citizens Bank Park in Philly and wherever the Eagles are playing have courtrooms too.

A good time to throw fish might be the Princeton at Harvard game in December.  You probably don't really mind getting thrown out and it would certainly make the point that Cornellians were there.

I like this idea the most.  I just hope they don't try to ban those caught from the Cornell game in January.
