Title: Grady Wittenburg Bingo
Post by: RichH on February 08, 2025, 08:12:57 PM
Completely from a place of love:

Manhattan Beach, California
"Johnny on the Spot"
Binghamton Senators
Quinni-PEEE-ak
Snide comment about his age
"Just up the road in Hamilton"
an inside joke with Tim
goal-line extended

I'm sure I'll think of more.

Tim Vanini's bingo card is just 25 spots of "No question about it."

He loves to say Manhattan Beach, California.  Hopefully, Murray makes an impact next season so he can keep saying it.

Vanini's bingo card also includes "great." During any given game, there are countless "great plays," "great shots," and "great saves."

My bingo card is two announcers and two color guys that are worth listening to.   That's only 4 spots so I guess they must cross the free space on my card because I'm a winner every night these 4 are announcing on ESPN+ and HCU.  I take my wins wherever I can get them.

P.S.  I've got less finesse than these 4 every day of the year. I think of myself as the Teller of radio sports.

My favorite part of going to a Penn and Teller show is talking with Teller afterwards. So you're in good company.

I was lucky enough to do that in Schenectady.  The only thing that doesn't fool me on P&T's Fool Us is their silly hair dye - age 69 & 76. Though not as bad as Umile.

He loved talking about Izzy Daniel, star of previous year's Cornell's woman's team
