Awww.. There's already one [OT] thread about this. Why do we need another?

Besides, I thought the poll was pretty funny even though I disagree with it.

What is hilarious is that you have now written "pole" twice.  ::laugh::

Booo. We're all family here.  Be a good winner about this.

Yeah - be the bigger fan, like Age.  Cute poll!  ::rolleyes::   At least I enjoyed showing it to my co-worker who's a huge Bills (4 in a row), Sabres (that was no goal!), Red Sox ('nuff said), and Clarkson (chokers!) fan.  She really knows how to pick 'em....

In Age's defense, he had that up before game 7, so it was trash talk (like the rest of the board), not poor post-game sportsmanship.

Yeah, because the Yanks don't have any pitchers -- certainly not any that may or may not have started against Pedro twice in the ALCS -- that throw behind heads and plant fastballs between player's eyes ::rolleyes::

Come on.  Roger doesn't throw behind a guys head.  He has better aim than that...

Actually, I really almost pulled the poll after game 7. Or at least I intended to but kept forgetting. Anyway, I'm back now and I'm pulling it.

Actually, throwing behind a guy's head is considered the more dangerous move.   Players instinctively dive backwards, so a ball thrown just behind a player is considered a more calculated attempt to brain a guy than a pitch right at the coconut, which is intended to get a guy dirty.

You just had to get all rational on me with my lame little joke, BRA.  But you do have a good point.

No offense, Age.  I was just pointing out that there is plenty of ribbing back and forth, and that the vast majority of it is "good natured rivalry" and not bad sportsmanship.  As a neutral observer in this minor squabble, I just like to give **** to both sides, so I thought the poll was hilarious!

INCH has what may be the most gratuitous final word on this rivalry:

Under the BC entry.

Nice to see McKee get a little praise a little further down the list!
