Title: audio links
Post by: jason on October 13, 2003, 11:41:18 PM
I've updated the page with links to the free audio feeds of Cornell's opponents based on info I could find at each opponents' athletics page. It's located at: http://www.frontiernet.net/~letsgored/audiolinks.html Please note that this address has changed from last year. (Age, feel free to link to it if you wish.) FWIW, I think Wodon's work is far superior to most other broadcasters covering college hockey, so I'd encourage folks to bite the bullet and get the RealONE College Sports Pass. But I know some can't and others won't on principle which I can understand, so I hope the page helps. It being early in the season, I haven't had an opportunity to test any of the links. If anyone finds an error, please email me at letsgored@hotmail.com.

BTW, it looks like more teams are jumping on board the RealONE Pass; some teams that were free last year are now using it.

Thanks much, Jason.

Brown may have joined the RealPass crowd, but Noel and Co. can still bask in the glory::rolleyes:: of having been first.

There seems to be an indication that Colgate will be having their home games with live streaming video.

See http://www.i2sports.com and click on Calendar for more info.  The front page of the website seems to have a link to the recent game against Ferris St., but I couldn't get the video to play.  Might be a software or firewall issue on my end.

But this would be worthwhile to add to the page of links of opponents broadcasts I think!

Whoa! Things at i2sports are even more interesting than Colgate vs Cornell. EVERY Cornell home game is shown on their calendar and Cornell is listed as a "client" of theirs. The implication is that Cornell home games will have video feeds. Seems too good to be true, but for the time being I've added their info to the the audiolinks page (http://www.frontiernet.net/~letsgored/audiolinks.html)
