I would guess that the best CHL players are going to stay on their CHL teams until they turn pro. Rather, this change will lead to an influx of more mediocre CHL players who decide they want to go NCAA. It should help the lesser NCAA teams more than it helps the Michigans and BCs, because now they have a wider pool of (mediocre) players to draw from. It is terrible for Americans in the USHL/NAHL because now they have more more competition to go NCAA.
