Penn became the first Ivy League team to beat a SEC team in the tournament (Auburn) and after yesterday (https://www.inquirer.com/college-sports/penn/penn-baseball-score-ncaa-baseball-regionals-20230604.html), is one win away from being the first team in the conference to get to the round of 16 in the current format. Not much chatter about it locally given Penn's perception and relationship with the city, but definitely a big deal given the relative lack of national success the conference has had in baseball for many of the previous years.
Round of 16 for the entire tournament or for one of the regions. Seems as if the NCAA baseball tournament seems to run almost into July so that most of what's on the various ESPNs is NCAA baseball or softball playoffs.
Good for Penn. Next game, have Ivanka throw out the first ball.

It's already over for them.
They won 2 to get to the regional final but got swept by Southern Miss and didn't reach the Super Regional (final 16).
