Cornell 11-3, 5-1 league, hosts Michigan 9-6, 2-3 league, 2:30 pm Sundy at Schoellkopf Field. Broadcast (online) on ESPNU streaming. Cornell started well, Michigan picked up a lot of early losses, came to life in May. Should be a good game as long as Cornell shakes off the ILT doldrums. Virginia, Notre Dame, Hopkins and Duke should coast.

Watching the Yale-Georgetown game, the ESPN announcers must be broadcasting from somewhere off-site. It's pouring and the weather looks miserable every time they show the fans in the stands, and they haven't mentioned anything at all about the wet conditions. You have to believe that if they were there in person they would at least acknowledge it. I was watching the Mets game in Washington before the lacrosse game, and it was just a total downpour there, which caused a rain delay. The Nationals' stadium and Georgetown can't be that far away from each other, so the weather must be just as bad at the lacrosse game.
UPDATE: In the third quarter, the announcers said it looked like the sun might be coming out, so that indicates they may be there in person after all.
Georgetown wins a wild one over Yale, 19-17.
Ryan Cohen, one of Michigan's top players, missing today's game due to "internal issues" with the program.
Why is Follows so far away?
Mid-3rd can't get a good look.
11-11 with 6 minutes left in 4th period.
14-14, OT
Incredible game, one of the best I've seen
NM
rough call of "shot" on that ball that sailed over the head of the guy behind the net before the GWG. would have been a change of possession. double team to create a turnover wasn't a terrible idea but when it failed, the defensive formation was ruined and the guy at the back door was all alone.
Ball watching in front of the net.

Someone on Fanlax said Adler tipped the shot.
Adler certainly hit the stick. It was a shot attempt. Does anyone think Ierlan was distracted after he went into the portal or was it coincidental that he really struggled the last few games.

maybe - i thought he hit the stick but didn't watch for a replay. it looked more like he was gently passing than trying to fire it past ierlan imo.
also wish cascadden had been a little more patient but that's pure MMQB on my part. expected a ball fake at least not just a straight run and fire it 5 hole.
We never really established our dominance at all and were never able to get separation to the point where Michigan had to play desperate. Ierlan played well, defense played well, it just seemed we played footsie with a lesser team and didn't put any runs together. We scored when we had to, and we're just waiting for UM to get tired. A little crushing not to see them try to make another run, but they didn't peak this year.
Now it's back to anyone but Duke.
what precipitated the official coming over incensed in the first half and screaming at the Cornell coaching squad?

unlike hockey, as soon as cornell is out, lax literally ceases to exist to me
Unless Princeton rallies in the final period, the Ivies are going to be 0-3 in this year's tourney. Quite a contrast from last year.

Or Hop.
Old rivalries die hard.
Too many empty possessions on offense today.
Great 4th to make it a game and still made some bad decisions but when you struggle to get shots off sometimes that happens
Congratulations to a good Michigan team. I hope they beat Duke.
This one is going to hurt for a while. I'm going to leave it there for now.
