Stienburg is back.
Well, that's the best puck movement we've had all year on the power play.
Cornell 1 Clarkson 0
PPG 6:01 1st period Seger, Bancroft, Malinski

Quick, accurate, confident.
Shots in the first 11-2 Cornell.
Out of Town Scores:
SLU 3 Colgate 0
Harvard 2 Princeton 0
Yale 0 Quinnipiac 0
Really solid first period from the Big Red... very competitive from Clarkson despite their relative lack of scoring opportunities.
Scary rebound opportunity for Clarkson near the buzzer
Cornell blocked 8 shots in the first period. Hopefully, Cornell can possess the puck more at even strength the rest of the game. And you know Clarkson is going to get some power play chances before the night is over.
still 1-0 after 2 and the second period took the exact amount of time between when i ordered dinner and finished it so I'm watching the damn Zamboni* again
* shut up
Much more even period. We need to tighten up the defense. But I am very happy about the forecheck and our opportunism on steals.
Early 3rd at Q, 3-0 Q; Yale with 4 SOG
That Suda goal was the one Penney tried to get earlier.
Cornell 2 Clarkson 0
1:13 3rd period
Suda, O'Leary, Tupker

got his own rebound on a short angle stick-side shot and dipped behind the net for a wraparound. felt he was due for a while.
ffffff Clarkson EAG on a delayed penalty. so now a Clarkson power play.
Cornell 2 Clarkson 1
5:15 3rd period
Gosselin, Richardson, Power
That Shane save from in close was one of the best I have ever seen.
Berard hits the crossbar flush shooting on the empty net with a minute left but the good guys hang on.
Is anyone else trying to watch this on ESPN+? On my TV it seems the entire Hockey section is missing. I also tried search for "Cornell" and for "Clarkson," but found nothing.
Do you have any idea what's going on?

You have to go to ice hockey under other sports or something like that.

Do you see the white icons signifying the different sports? What brand of TV?

Yes, I see white icons, but no hockey icon. It seems about half of the icons are missings.
The TV is a Sony, with built-in Android TV. But I'm about to try a Samsung with an external Android TV device.
The Faithful should not be counting down the final seconds when the other team has the puck. We were just reminding them they had to shoot.

91 (http://www.tbrw.info/seasons/1991/box19910315.pdf). And just as I bring that box up, Manderville's son takes a shot for Colgate. Aint it funny how the night moves.

I mean... I always started counting "10...9..." when there were 4 seconds left. But not everyone thinks like me.

Clearly, they had to have stolen it from me.

I counted 22 sports in the icon row on my Samsung. I see 7 + and then scroll to reveal more to the right of MMA.
We blocked more shots than they put on goal, love it. Such a stressful game.
Schafer should conduct a master class on effective use of the coach's challenge.
That would have been a really exciting game if I hadn't had a rooting interest. As it is I need new finger nails.

I had the exact same shot. I don't remember the fans doing that until recently. Maybe I'm wrong though.

An interesting stat from Game 1: 34 shots on goal, 32 blocked shots.
I'm not much of a video editor, but I made a video of the end of last night's game that clearly shows time had expired before the puck crossed the goal line.

I couldn't figure out how to rewind my espn feed last night but that was way closer than I thought it was. Phew
Not sure the goalie was in the best spot for a last 2nd shot . the only place the shooter could really score was short side high from there and no time for a pass. but he was not on the post or playing tall .
